Daily office duties:
Running of National Office

Managing online banking, lodgements, petty cash, invoice payment
Record and respond to donations received

National Retreats:
Initial planning and meetings
Liaising with various functional teams
Help manage preparations through plan of work

Attending National retreats

Database:
Maintaining database
Input registration forms from all retreats both national and regional


Graphic Design:
Design of annual Bookmarks

National Council:

Communicate and support National Council members country-wide
Coaching and help foster growth of new leaders, prayer group leaders
Organise the national convention annually

Website and IT :
Knowledge of computer networking in the office
Liaising with IT Officer on website
Compile & issue bi-Monthly e-vents bulletin

Representing Y2K:
Corresponding with Youth 2000 International as directed by National Leader
Networking with other groups
Youth 2000 representative

Child Protection:
Knowledge of Youth 2000’s Child Protection policy
Assist Youth 2000 Child Protection officers in deploying policy

Annual Ball:
Assist local Ball organiser with planning and facilitate ticket selling

Pilgrimages:
Help organise World Youth Day pilgrimage, includes helping with promotion,
preparation days, managing bookings, pilgrim inquiries and registration
Attend World Youth Day pilgrimage

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church and a commitment to the ethos,
charism and objectives of Youth 2000
2. Comfortable with a team work approach yet ability to work on own initiative
3. Strong interpersonal skills

Presenters (Full-Time and Part-Time)
Presenters sought for music driven radio shows. You will engage

and of the contemporary Christian music scene. Strong
communication skills and an ability to connect with the listener are
essential. A minimum of 2 years on-air radio experience is
preferred. Willing to work within a formatted radio environment.

Production and Imaging Manager
Experienced individual required for writing, creating and producing
imaging and the production of ads, promos and features. The role
will involve working to a tight deadline.
Must understand audition/cool edit. Experience with myriad also
preferred. Good copy-writing skills are required. Experience in
commercial radio is essential. On air presenting ability a bonus.

Radio Sales Executive
The role involves prospecting and developing business with
advertisers and sponsors. Managing all aspects of client
relationships, opportunity targeting and client consultation.
Development and presentation of marketing plans to achieve those
objectives. Establish ad timelines and scheduling, complete and
submit broadcast orders and follow up on billings and collection.
Liaise with creative, production, traffic and accounting departments.
The ideal candidate will be creative and possess strong
communication and presentation skills - written and verbal. Be selfdirected,
enthusiastic and motivated. Media sales experience an
asset.

Speech Content Editor
The content editor will provide coordination and oversight for all
speech features: Current affairs and news features, Christian
Community related features, branding features, talk show features,
Scripture reflections, and other speech features, etc.
This person will play an essential role in helping to hold the mission
of Spirit Radio on track. Candidate must have experience in cross
denonminational church settings and theological qualifications

Pope Benendict XVI has announced that the 50th International Eucharistic Congress will be held in Dublin in June 2012. The Congress will engage people from Ireland and around the world in a programme of liturgical and cultural events intended to promote awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Catholic Church and to draw attention to the social dimension of the Eucharist.
The Eucharistic Congress was previously celebrated in Ireland in 1932. This significant international event is held every four years and was last hosted by Quebec City in 2008.

Preparations for 2012 are already underway with the appointment of a General Secretary (who has overall responsibility for the planning and implementation of the Congress) and of a Programme Manager.

We are currently seeking to fill the role of Office Manager.

The IEC Office Manager will:
· Act as personal assistant to the General Secretary and Programme Manager.
· Deal with enquires from church and state agencies and from general public.
· Provide administrative support for the main committees of the Congress
· Ensure the compliance of IEC staff and volunteers with the Garda Vetting Process.
· Carry out general office management duties ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Required:
· Previous experience in a similar role is essential
· Must be IT Literate
· Database management experience is desired
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise workloads

Pope Benedict XVI has announced that the 50th International Eucharistic Congress
will be held in Dublin in June 2012. The Congress will engage people from Ireland
and around the world in a programme of liturgical and cultural events intended to
promote awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Catholic Church and to draw attention to the social dimension of the Eucharist.

The Eucharistic Congress was previously celebrated in
Ireland in 1932. This significant international event is held
every four years and was last hosted by Quebec City in 2008.

Preparations for 2012 are already underway with
the appointment of a General Secretary with overall
responsibility for the planning and implementation of the
Congress.

Programme Manager
To support the General Secretary, a Programme Manager is
being recruited. This important position will manage the
material/logistical elements required to host the Congress.
The successful candidate will co-ordinate the events of the
Congress as well as the activities of working groups and sub
committees responsible for services, logistics, volunteers,
media, and communications. The successful candidate will
have proven project management skills and experience of
signifi cant event management. In addition to experience
in managing teams, the successful candidate will have a
level of familiarity with and understanding of the liturgical
ceremonies of the Catholic Church that will enable him /
her to understand and respond to the technical and artistic
requirements of the main congress events.

The Programme Manager will:
> Create and manage the project plan for the Congress.
> Have overall responsibility for venue management.
> Co-ordinate project plans for implementation of the
programme with public bodies and statutory agencies.
> Manage staff members and volunteers who are assigned
to him/her.
> Participate in and be a member of the Local Planning
Committee (Chaired by the Archbishop of Dublin) and sub
committees for which he/she will be responsible.

Required:
1. A relevant third level qualifi cation e.g. project
management, procurement, or logistics or equivalent
relevant professional experience.
2. Strong background in large scale event management.
3. Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church
and a commitment to the ethos and objectives of the
Eucharistic Congress.
4. Highly developed interpersonal skills with a strong ability
to infl uence.
5. Excellent organisational, analytical and report writing
skills.
6. Previous experience in creating and managing teams.
7. Proven ability to manage people in both contractual and
voluntary situations.
8. Well developed IT skills relevant to project management.

NET Ministries of Ireland is a Catholic youth ministry organisation. NET stands for National Evangelisation Teams. Our mission is to challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. We do this in four ways:

Currently NET Ireland is seeking a Coordinator to serve as the chief executive officer of the organisation in a manner that is faithful to the mission of NET as outlined above.

Major Areas of Responsibility

- Serve as staff to the Board of Directors

- Guide and supervise the other staff members

- Review and approve the annual department plans and recommend an annual budget to the board of directors

- Serve as the spokesperson of NET to the public

- Serve as a mentor in key program areas

- Serve as chief liaison with NET in Canada, the United States, Australia and Uganda

- Oversee and guide all development efforts including fundraising, public relations and communications

Travelling required at certain times throughout the year.

Qualifications

Interviews

Education postgraduate programme.
